Founded in April 2000, South East England Virtual Education Action Zone (SEEVEAZ) is the most successful learning network in the United Kingdom. One of the Action Zone's major challenges was reconciling the variety of computing environments within the individual schools. What was abundantly clear throughout the Action Zone was the need to improve the accessibility and connectivity to networks and to continue to increase network bandwidth, in order to benefit from the growing importance of the Internet as a learning resource and to meet ongoing efforts to develop a 24-hour, always-accessible learning environment. The Action Zone has six instances of the Cisco Networking Academy Program, including a Regional Academy.
