Central Michigan University (CMU) is a vibrant community of scholars, leaders and partners dedicated to achieving excellence in undergraduate and graduate learning. Making student and administrative information readily accessible to rapidly growing user community was a challenge for the CMU. IBM offered superior price/ performance ratio, closest relationship with SAP and best reliability, scalability, availability and flexibility. The university deployed IBM DB2 Universal Database which is the information management infrastructure for SAP enterprise resource planning system and student information management system.
