Bridgestone Software Co., Ltd. (Bridgestone Software), a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, provides software services for tire design, pilot production and development services as well as the management of overseas export services. Bridgestone Software wanted automation of operations management for cost reduction and prevention of errors. The company deployed IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler which supports whole batch operations, such as job registration, schedule entry, job execution and monitor. Bridgestone Software also implemented operations management software tools from the IBM eServer zSeries software product group.
