Yapi Kredi, a leading Turkish bank, provides a wide range of retail and corporate banking and investment services. To underpin the success of its operations and provide quality customer service, the bank has invested significantly in a modern technology infrastructure. Safeguarding the network from viruses and worms is critical, and Yapi Kredi uses an array of technologies to achieve this. Until recently, the bank relied on manual update management to guard against infections from internal sources. To speed up its update-management processes, the bank implemented Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 with Microsoft Software Update Services Feature Pack. This solution provides automated vulnerability assessment, update deployment, and reporting services. Yapi Kredi is now saving 500 person hours a month for security upgrades.
