NetBackup Disaster Recovery and High Availability is all about protecting the business environment. These environments can be as simple as providing Disaster Recovery (DR) / High Availability (HA) for a single server and its applications, or can be as complex as providing a corporate site disaster and business continuity strategy. Whatever the business needs, and wherever one is at with this process, the goal is the same: correctly match computer technology infrastructure with the specific business environment. This paper covers the spectrum from helping the novice formulate a basic NetBackup related DR/ HA / Replication understanding and plan, all the way to assisting the advanced user with fine-tuning an existing strategy and plan for the future.
