Deaver Industries' ordering system was primarily paper-based - a process that wasted a lot of time, considering that many orders went to both companies - and was prone to errors, such as losing documents. The company's existing accounting program, SBT, couldn't help automate this process, because it could track only cash flow. To address this issue, Deaver Industries decided to implement Vantage, a supply chain management solution from Epicor, to streamline business operations. Deaver Industries' ordering system was primarily paper-based.
