Before implementing Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Knowledge Services employees had difficulty obtaining business-critical information in a timely manner. Knowledge Services moved its IT system from Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0 and Red Hat Linux to Windows Server 2003. The company also migrated from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server and from Oracle to Microsoft SQL Server 2000. For managing customer relationships, the company moved from ACT! to Microsoft Business Solutions CRM.
