National Health Service Wales launched Informing Healthcare (IHC) in 2003 to implement information and communication technologies to support modernizing health services in Wales. To allow citizens to access health-related information via a secure website, IHC launched a program to create "My Health Online", a portal designed for patients in Wales. Capgemini was invited to collaborate with IHC, PA Consulting Group and Millar Hutchison working on behalf of NHS Wales. Each partner brought specific strengths to turn vision into reality, working seamlessly against demanding timescales and budget constraints.
