Business Objects wanted to find a way to deliver professional services information in a secure, consistent and personalized way. Traditional content management software vendors were unable to meet the stringent project requirements, which included the ability to map operational content to internal business processes and to securely exchange and track content usage via the Web. To meet this challenge, the company turned to InStranet. With InStranet, Professional Services Operations (PSO) was able to increase the level of awareness for their operational communications, to ensure business processes execution and to manage ongoing improvements of consultant network segmentation. The project was named "Services Central".
