The company wanted to tighten control over enterprise-wide operations, which had become decentralized during the company's growth. The challenge was to increase efficiency and operational effectiveness and articulate and quantify the business case for better product information management to senior executives, in order to gain buy-in to implement process improvements. The company worked with Oracle Insight to create a compelling business case for product information management, and the potential strategic and operational benefits to be gained from tightening control over data. It also worked with Oracle Insight to identify Oracle Product Information Management Data Hub (Oracle PIM Data Hub) as a suitable solution to the challenges listed above.
