No one has ever accused Visual Studio of being the fastest application in the world. One particular sore spot is the time it takes to launch a new instance of Visual Studio. If the reader is a frequent user of Visual Studio, this is not news to him. There are a couple of things the user can do to speed up how Visual Studio starts - although it won't be the fastest app in the world, it will be much more bearable.
