PowerPoint is a desktop presentation program that turns one's ideas into professional, convincing presentations. If one has ever used an overhead projector, flip chart, or even a blackboard, one is going to love PowerPoint! PowerPoint lets one create slides that include text, graphics, charts, and even digital movies. Once the user has created a presentation, he or she can display it as an electronic slide show on any computer. Or, the user can print the slides so that he or she can display them as transparencies or 35mm slides. This paper will introduce the user to the PowerPoint "Basics" - what one needs to know to create, print, and save a presentation.
