Nando's is a fast-casual restaurant chain based in Johannesburg, South Africa, that specializes in a tongue-tingling dish called Peri-Peri Flame-Grilled Chicken. They wanted to put the company's technology systems in better order and put the gees back into his soul. The restaurant started by implementing a centralized directory service - the Active Directory service, an integral part of the Windows Server 2003 operating system - which helped staff automate routine network administrative chores and manage systems remotely. Nando's implemented Active Directory as its directory service to provide centralized management of the network and relieve restaurant managers of network maintenance chores. The company also uses Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 as its messaging infrastructure, hosting it as a managed service through local service provider Internet Solutions.
