Inergy Automotive Systems designs, builds, and delivers plastic fuel-delivery systems to some of the world's largest automobile manufacturers. Inergy was created by two companies merging divisions into a joint venture. This resulted in a complicated Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0 domain infrastructure with a high total cost of ownership and inefficient access to shared resources, thus hindering productivity. Inergy worked with Interlink Group to upgrade the network to Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Active Directory, consolidating the company's 35 disparate domains into a single global domain. Inergy also upgraded to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 with Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access, improving remote messaging access for its employees.
