A division of larger Emerson based in St. Louis, Missouri, Emerson Argentina combines technology and engineering to provide technological solutions for a broad range of industrial, commercial, and consumer markets. The company wanted to convert legacy systems into a single database to facilitate maintenance and reduce costs and streamline operations to control company's international growth. The challenge was to integrate all the different systems across the world and reduce response time and improve financial activities development and increase accounting quality. The company implemented Oracle Financials, consolidating the company's systems and managed a global company with different databases. The company also improved accounting close and aligned company's administrative processes and all areas, facilitating strategic decisions.
