COCC provides a state-of-the-art technology platform to more than 140 community banks and credit unions in the Northeast. The company wanted to continue to provide a high level of service to COCC customers and ensure the secure transfer of vital, private financial data. The challenge was to improve efficiency and speed the IT upgrade process and reduce IT hardware and management costs. The company used Oracle technology and applications to implement a highly available, reliable, and open IT infrastructure to replace COCC's aging legacy system, expanding visibility of critical data, improving processing efficiency, and ensuring the security of sensitive data. The company used Oracle Financials to automate corporate finance processes, as well as prepare secure reports for executive management and external audiences.
