HP offers server platforms to meet a wide range of business needs. To help customers select the appropriate platforms for their HP Server Based Computing (SBC) environments, HP publishes performance briefs documenting the performance and scalability of new and updated HP ProLiant servers. These performance briefs contain detailed information on how HP determined the scalability of each server using a metric that relates directly to the user experience - the number of Heavy Users that can be supported before response times start to become unacceptable.
