In order to support its customer-oriented strategy, Poste Italiane SpA needed to implement an innovative IT solution to monitor sales at all times. Employees also wanted access to detailed information on their small business customers, which constitute an important revenue stream for the business. The company decided to implement an intuitive sales tool, PT Commerce, which is based on Microsoft technology. The highly flexible tool facilitates the work of sales people, enabling them to check product availability in real time, analyse customer behaviour and manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) more effectively.
