First American Trust Federal Savings Bank is part of The First American Corporation, a Forbes 500 and Fortune 500 company and the nation's leading provider of diversified business information and related products. As First American's computing system and data storage needs grew, it became apparent that trying to meet these objectives with Direct-Attached Storage (DAS) and an outsourced disaster recovery plan would be costly and increasingly difficult to scale. The decision to standardize on NetApp storage was simple. The bank already relied on NetApp storage for user home directories and was well acquainted with the value, reliability, and simplified management NetApp offers.
