MySQL is the world's most popular open source database. It is used in more than 10 million installations ranging from large corporations to specialized embedded applications on every continent in the world. As part of their MySQL Enterprise subscription, customers get access to the MySQL Network Monitoring and Advisor Service, which continuously monitors MySQL servers and sends alerts for potential problems before they impact the target systems. BitRock worked with MySQL to develop Custom Stacks that include the MySQL Network Monitoring and Advisor Service and all of the open source software it requires. The intuitive installers offer users the option of installing the software via a user-friendly graphical interface, or in text or unattended mode (for remote installs).
