Lin International is an internationally recognized civil and structural engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, construction engineering, and inspection of transportation infrastructure. The company wanted to increase productivity by modernizing and improving e-mail system and improve e-mail management tools. The challenge was to enhance search, recovery, and memory capabilities of e-mail database and improve spam filtering capabilities to allow IT team and staff to spend time on other mission-critical activities. T.Y. Lin International increased business productivity by consolidating e-mail archiving and groupware applications such as group calendar, scheduling, bulletin board, and contact management through the implementation of Oracle Collaboration Suite.
