The European Investment Bank (EIB), created by the Treaty of Rome, is the financing institution of the European Union (EU). The company wanted to centralize and integrate disparate, manual Human Resources (HR) and financial administration processes and provide flexibility to expand the scope of its operations. EIB implemented Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) and Enterprise Financial Management to increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and provide integrated access to a single source of information.
