Established in 1904, CCPL Gruppo Industriale Cooperativo is one of Italy's biggest cooperative industrial groups. The company wanted to implement a technology infrastructure to support diversification away from a construction-industry base. The challenge was to ensure transparent integration with existing software including third-party management system and create an environment for interactive communications and relationships between multiple stakeholder communities. The company chose an Oracle technology platform for its dependable, robust, Web-based technology; ability to integrate with third-party systems; and protection of investment through a program of upgrades and technical and administrative support.
