Online reporting is among the best uses of Web technology and a challenging objective on many Web sites. The most efficient method of delivering timely data to partners, internal employees, and customers is a self-service Web reporting application. Already, many companies calculate and track sales, evaluate investments, and automate business administration over the Web. Traditionally, most quantitative data is formatted in Microsoft Excel and the business world is proficient in the software. But most of nowadays Web reporting solutions do not produce native Excel - particularly not richly formatted Excel with charts, pivot tables, and VBA.
