Management company Unique oversees operations at the Zurich Airport. Unique employs 1,200 people to keep the airport infrastructure - including 24,000 people and 180 businesses - running smoothly. The existing business monitoring system, Zeus, provided Unique with an overview of the activities occurring at Zurich Airport. However, Unique wanted to increase interactive and graphic capabilities. As a solution, together with Microsoft Certified Partners NeuroPie and Zuhlke, Unique increased visuals and functionality by using Windows Vista, the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, and Windows Presentation Foundation. As a result the company provided rich information: at a glance, bottlenecks: more accurately preventable and traveler wait time: 10 percent lower.
