Founded in 1937, Health First operates three hospitals and other healthcare programs in Brevard County, Florida. Physicians accessed patient information through many different applications. The system was cumbersome to use and hard to manage. As a solution Health First used Eclipsys ObjectsPlus/XA technology to customize Sunrise Clinical Manager, an automated patient records solution built on the Microsoft .NET Framework and SQL Server 2000. This benefited the company with fast, easy development, higher productivity, greater IT staff/physician collaboration, industry leadership and robust foundation for the future.
