The Sipcam-Oxon Group is a set of independent, privately owned fine chemicals companies. The company wanted to enable access to applications over the Web. The challenge was to cut IT administrative costs and create a single, unified, secure point of access to applications. The company upgraded to Oracle Database and an enterprise resource planning solution from Oracle's JD Edwards line of products, giving more than 200 users access to data over the Web.
