An Airbus subsidiary since July 2003, CIMPA is a specialty services company that produces engineering and industrial information systems. The company wanted to build an IT system that integrates all of CIMPA's accounting, financial, and project-management applications. The challenge was to improve management of it financial and project flows; speed estimates and invoicing and improve the reliability of information distribution systems and expand access to information from all sites. The company implemented a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution from Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne line of products, unifying and streamlining financial and purchasing processes throughout the company.
