Founded in 1874, Colseguros is Colombia's first insurance company. The company wanted to find an integrated insurance platform to support all business units. The challenge was to improve the company's capacity to provide new products and services to meet the customers' needs in a responsive, secure and reliable way and improve IT area productivity, and reduce IT maintenance costs. The company implemented an insurance solution based on Oracle Database and Oracle Forms, enabling the company to support its entire business cycle - from product configuration to policy issuing, claims and payment, all on a single platform called ACSEL/X.
