University College London (UCL) has over 19,000 students from more than 140 countries, and over 4,000 academic and research staff. The challenge was to optimize spending by taking advantage of centrally negotiated contracts for scientific items and generic requirements and leverage value of existing investment in Oracle Purchasing. UCL rolled out Oracle iProcurement to 270 users, taking advantage of Oracle's intuitive Web-based requisitioning functionality to ensure rapid go-live while minimizing need for user training.
