The Land Transport Safety Authority (LTSA) of New Zealand is a transportation safety organization ensuring 24 x 7 x 365 availability of its IT systems. Established to "Undertake activities that promote safety in land transport at a reasonable cost," Land Transport NZ is also responsible for managing certain motor vehicle registry and revenue collection functions under contract to the Ministry of Transport. Land Transport New Zealand partnered with Unisys to take advantage of technology and best practices from around the world.
