Singapore Management University (SMU) has provided diverse graduate degree programs since its incorporation in 2000. With the growth of its student base, it found there was a need to enhance its ERP system, used primarily for human resources and accounting functions. SMU needed to free staff from tedious manual billing and record keeping; integrate billing, collections and financial assistance sources into a single system; interface with its existing SAP system for financial management, reporting and analysis; and implement a scalable e-Billing solution for its users. SMU chose the StudentLink solution from iqDynamics, based on Microsoft ASP.NET, Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003, and Windows Server 2003.
