IHOP Corp. and its subsidiaries develop, operate, and franchise IHOP restaurants, one of America's best-known family dining chains. IHOP wanted to improve system-wide customer support structure and establish a system to track and support franchise development and management processes. The challenge was to create an effective restaurant support center - offering development, administration, and call center support to franchisees and restaurant guests. The company implemented Oracle E-Business Suite applications to create a comprehensive franchise development and management solution that delivers the highest level of support to IHOP's franchisees. They also deployed Oracle Customer Data Hub to gain an integrated view of customer data - consolidating many disparate data silos into a single-view of the customer.
