Juma Al Majid Group is one of the Middle East's oldest and most diverse trading conglomerates. The company wanted to integrate existing IT systems to create a common platform and business strategy across the automotive division. The challenge was to use the new platform to provide the needed flexibility and agility to enter new markets and add new companies to the corporate portfolio. They also wanted to improve visibility of the division's enterprise-level financial position to accurately measure and control costs of subsidiaries. Juma Al Majid Group consolidated its systems for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) into a single instance of Oracle E-Business Suite and installed an array of financials, HR, and project-management modules to serve all companies in the division.
