With over 23 years of experience building video display systems and digital signage, Impart Media Group had more recently been using Linux and proprietary operating systems to drive its line of passive digital signage and interactive media devices. After successfully building a set of merchandising kiosks and retailing end caps running on the Windows XP Embedded operating system in weeks rather than months, Impart Media made the decision to augment its technology toolkit and port its entire product line of media device to Windows XPe. Windows Embedded technology and tools will help Impart Media get new products to market faster, with rich media and driver support, plus integration with the .NET Framework.
