This paper covers the installation of NetApp storage in a NFS environment for IBM AIX 5L on IBM System p5 550Q, model 9133-55A. A single IBM System p5 550Q in multiple independent Logical PARtitions (LPARs) running AIX 5L Version 5.3 Technology Level 4 (5300-04) operating system. The database is Oracle 10g Real Application Clusters release 2 (Oracle 10gR2 RAC).
