Oracle Database 10g supports creating web services for Rules Manager operations using PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions. Web services can be created for Rules Manager runtime operations to receive events and for the rules actions that are invoked when the rules evaluate to true for the events. This paper provides an overview of the steps and sample code for implementing Rules Manager runtime web services.
