ICSTIS is the London based, industry-funded Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Telephone Information Services. ICSTIS needed to improve their responsiveness to enquiries from the public. With a small contact centre already in place, the increasing pressure for advice and up to date information was making it impossible to meet demands. As a solution the company implemented IP Office as an Applications Gateway, using Avaya VoiceMail Pro with Text-to-Speech for customer call handling.
