Envi Con is an independent engineering company offering general design and detail engineering for new projects, rebuilding projects and deconstruction projects of power plants and waste-to-energy plants. When upgrading its telephone system, Envi Con outlined several goals that it hoped to achieve with its new platform. The company wanted to increase customer service by making staff in the corporate office more available to customers and increase productivity by integrating voice mail, fax and e-mail functions into a single interface on the users' desktops. As a solution the company chose a converged network infrastructure with wireless capabilities from Avaya.
