Conducted independently and without vendor sponsorship, Nemertes' study is based on interviews with more than 120 IT executives who rated VoIP vendors in nine critical areas. Gareiss explains the benchmark's rating criteria and discloses what executives reported as their per-user IPT spend based on:
- Operational start-up costs
- Capital investment requirements
- Ongoing operational, administrative, and support costs
