retarus GmbH, based in Munich, Germany, is an independent software vendor serving the European market with various IT communication products and services. In order to provide fast and efficient document conversion, retarus needed a stable, high-performance database platform for storing the data processed by COMMunix XC. With COMMunix XC, the database is used to store the EDI conversion mappings, the transaction documents that still need to be processed as well as the historical log of the processed conversions. By storing its business-critical information in a high-speed database, COMMunix XC has immediate read-and-write access to its data, allowing it to rapidly convert a large number of transactions. This allows COMMunix XC customers to grow their revenues while minimizing costs.
