This paper discusses how the Emulex VMPilot management application creates SAN-enabled virtual machines for Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2. Using Emulex LightPulse Virtual HBA technology, VMPilot virtualizes the HBA connection and enables rapid deployment and migration of VMs with SAN-attached storage.
