AXA Group is an international financial protection company with 50 million clients and more than 117,000 employees. In 2003, AXA launched a companywide server consolidation program to lower data center costs. When Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 became available, the North American IT group at AXA evaluated it, and the chief information officer approved its use in global data centers. In addition to helping AXA dramatically streamline its Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0 - based holdings, Virtual Server 2005 delivers savings from faster server provisioning and lower server management costs.
