Solution provider TECTURA was faced with a problem. Its business had grown and its ability to configure, manage, and maintain customer solutions was reaching a critical point. Its solutions were built around Microsoft technology, but every customer's environment was unique and it was standard procedure to keep hardware available for replicating the customer environment. Demonstration systems were also difficult to maintain, especially since they could be required on a moment's notice. Using Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 it was able to create a set of standard development environments that could be used both for customer demonstrations and as templates for actual customer deployments.
