Giesecke & Devrient GmbH (G&D) is a leading provider of smart card technology and chip-card based solutions in the fields of telecommunications, electronic payment, healthcare, identification, transportation and IT security. G&D wanted to implement a collaboration platform for system suppliers and subcontractors, with a focus on content sharing. The challenge was to accelerate development and production and enhance data access security. Working with Oracle Consulting Services, G&D implemented Oracle Content Database and Oracle BPEL Process Manager to create a comprehensive and integrated collaboration environment that enables extensive content sharing.
