An overtaxed IT system was causing daily network outages of a critical customer-facing application for a major insurance provider; these outages were resulting in lost time, reduced productivity, and an inability to meet customer service goals. The larger challenge was to create a more flexible IT environment that leveraged the ease and accessibility of Web Services and would accommodate current and future growth, providing the company with improved business agility. The client tasked LiquidHub with the assessment of the environment, and the subsequent implementation of new systems to stabilize their web applications while ensuring that the implementation would not interrupt daily system operations.
