DeVry University is one of the largest universities in the United States. The university wanted to provide portfolio management and utilization tools to maximize use of limited IT resources and facilitate achievement of strategic goals. This was solved by implementing IBM DB2 Universal Database Express Edition, IBM eServer xSeries running Linux, IBM Software as Services, IBM WebSphere Application Server - Express and Portfolio Intelligence from Three Olive Solutions. SOA enables them to build, deploy and integrate those services independent of applications and the computing platforms on which they run - making business processes more flexible.
