Intermediate School District (ISD) 287 of Plymouth, Minnesota meets the diverse and changing needs of the 110,000 students in its member districts through cooperatively delivered high-quality, cost-effective services. Each of the organization's more than two dozen sites had a separate phone system, making it difficult to locate people and nearly impossible to disseminate information quickly in case of an emergency. This was solved by Cisco Premier Partner Phenomenal Networks who designed and deployed a Cisco Unified Communications system to streamline communications and unify the disparate sites. The district is saving money and the IT staff is freed up from keeping old systems running and can focus on more strategic projects.
