Jordan Mobile Telephone Services Company Ltd. Fastlink, founded in 1995, was the first operator to introduce mobile phone services into Jordan. The challenges faced by the company were to reduce operational costs by introducing more efficient business processes and improve ability to analyze and act on financial, sales, and other business data. The company also wanted to effectively communicate information on new and existing services to Fastlink's growing customer base. To tackle this, the company implemented Oracle E-Business Suite applications to automate and improve the efficiency of key business processes, including accounting, procurement, inventory, and human resources and reduced monthly accounting cycle time by 25% and procurement cycle time by 25%.
