Located in Northern Alberta, Peace Country Health region (PCH) serves a population of 130,000 area residents and thousands more from British Columbia. With 23 remote sites across more than 150,000 square kilometers, collaboration was a challenge. To communicate and exchange documents, employees relied primarily on email, but individual inboxes and file shares became clogged with multiple versions of the same document, and employees struggled with version control. Using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Compugen Inc., created a secure intranet site that allows users to centrally manage, store and access the volume of documents across the region - increasing collaboration, improving content management and creating a whole new world of work for employees across all sites.
